Recording Services:
High Anxiety Music offers recording services for musicians of all kinds. Our engineer is company President and Founder Ralph J. Petrella who has 6 years experience making recordings of school bands and orchestras. Recently, Ralph has studied recording with Mark Rubel, Grammy nominated sound engineer and proprietor of Champaign’s famed Pogo Studios. With the knowledge he has gained, Ralph is now ready to offer a variety of recording services to any musician looking to make a high quality recordings at an affordable price.

Our recording set-up is computer based and fully portable, making it easy to record in any place at any time. Rates are as follows:

+ Studio Time at the High Anxiety Music Center: $30 per hour
+ On Site Recording Services (where we come to you): $50 per hour
+ All Mixing and Mastering: $30 per hour
+ Set up and tear down time is ALWAYS free of charge.
+ It is suggested that the client purchase a USB hard drive (50 GB minimum) for the purpose of backing up recording sessions. Otherwise DVD-R backups will be made at the cost of materials.


Student Recital and Audition Special:
Music students at any level may take advantage of our special rate for recital and audition tape recordings. The features of this package are as follows:

+ $100 flat fee for recording and mixing (per session)
+ Studio style recording set-up - Both the soloist and pianist are miked in addition to the standard stereo pair, giving a more representative and higher quality sound
+ Finished product guaranteed to be delivered to client within 48 hours of the end of the recital/recording session
+ Files sent to client digitally, allowing client to download files with no risk of damage to CD-R media - This also allows family and friends to download your performance without having to wait for CDs in the mail!
